Yum Jung-ah from The Defects continued the brutal game until the end.
In the 7th episode of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama The Defects (directed by Oh Gi-hwan, written by Ahn So-jung, produced by Group Eight and Take One Studio) aired on Nov. 11, Kim A-hyun (Won Jina) is depicted as outraged by the endless misdeeds of Kim Se-hee (Yum Jung-ah), providing breathless suspense.
Earlier, Seok-soo (Oh Seung-jun) died, and Jeong-hyeon (Kim Jin-young) set fire to the hideout to deal with the children. At that moment, believing everything was over, Woo Tae-sik (Choi Young-jun), who was thought to be dead, miraculously appeared and saved the children, creating a twist. The children barely escaped the flames with Tae-sik's help, but Jeong-hyeon could not ultimately pursue Se-hee's daughter and another A-hyun (Kim Ji-an).
At Seok-soo's funeral, A-hyun, filled with sorrow, blamed herself and shed tears, while the children and Tae-sik also mourned his death, adding to the heartache. However, even in despair, A-hyun steeled her resolve for revenge.
Meanwhile, Se-hee, enraged at Jeong-hyeon for losing the children, ordered A-hyun, who had become useless, to be killed. She then sent refund request invitations to all customers of The Defects, revealing the true face of absolute evil in stark terms.
Due to Se-hee's cruelty, many children were at risk of being abandoned by their parents simply because they were not deemed to have 'superior genes.' To prevent this, A-hyun and Tae-sik went directly to the parents who were considering refunds to expose the horrific reality of The Defects.
On the day of the final confrontation, A-hyun disguised as a child infiltrated the family camping event prepared by Se-hee but was soon discovered by Jeong-hyeon. A shocking scene unfolded at the campsite: parents simultaneously drew their guns and aimed them at their own children. A-hyun's image, losing her composure and filled with rage, closed the ending, raising expectations for the unpredictable finale.
The ENA Monday-Tuesday drama The Defects will air its finale today (12th) at 10 p.m. and will also be available exclusively on streaming service TVING.
