Minnie has been cast as the lead in the Thai remake of the movie '50 First Dates.' '50 First Dates' is a romantic comedy released in 2004, portraying the love story of Lucy Whitmore (played by Drew Barrymore) and Henry Roth (played by Adam Sandler), a zookeeper who falls in love with her at first sight, and has been loved by many.
In this remake, Minnie will transform into the female protagonist and is expected to showcase delicate emotional performances. This film, co-produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Thai representative film company GDH, will begin filming in October.
Her co-star is Thai model and actor Nadech Kugimiya. Nadech Kugimiya is a top Thai actor who has appeared in the 2019 drama 'The Heirs' Thai version and last year's highest-grossing Thai film 'Death Whisperer 2.' Additionally, the film is produced and directed by renowned Thai director Mez Tarathon, with the screenplay co-written by Todsaporn Tiptharakul and Benjamaporn Surabua.
Minnie made her acting debut in 2021 with the Netflix series 'I Wish the Earth Would End Tomorrow,' where she made a significant impact. In her first film lead role, the Thai remake of '50 First Dates,' she is expected to present an even deeper performance along with her unique bright and lovely charm.
