Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the band DAY6 is sequentially releasing visual content that captures the history of its songs.
JYP Entertainment posted a video titled 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Announcement: The DECADE of us' on the group's official SNS channel on 4th, announcing various projects to commemorate DAY6's 10th anniversary. As part of the initiative, visual artworks expressing their musical narrative have been opened on DAY6's official SNS channel since 9th.
At 12:10 a.m. on the 10th, the visual artwork 'It Was a Happy Day' featuring a cyanotype technique was revealed. It portrayed the heated moments of the album series 'Youth' themed around youth with summer imagery, complemented by the melody of 'It Was a Happy Day' to create a refreshing feel. At 9:08 a.m., 'Beautiful Feeling' featured a writer, perfumer, office worker, and dock worker, reminiscent of the four fan meetings that have taken place since their debut. At 7:15 p.m., the sixth chapter of the visual artwork was decorated with 'To Be a Page' in ASCII art design, evoking memories of the time and traces from the book series known as 'The Book of Us' that unfolded from 2019 to 2021.
DAY6 will release its fourth studio album 'The DECADE' on September 5th. This new release, a regular album following 'The Book of Us: Entropy' in October 2019, will be the first new song seen since the digital single 'Maybe Tomorrow' in May 2025, generating excitement among music fans.
Ahead of the new album release, they will kick off their 10th anniversary tour 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour 'The DECADE'' at Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City on the 30th and 31st of this month. Following the historic performance at Goyang Sports Complex, which records the first standalone entry for a domestic band, they will perform on September 27th in Bangkok, on October 18th in Ho Chi Minh City, on January 17th, 2026, in Hong Kong, and on the 24th in Manila, and on the 31st in Kuala Lumpur, with more venues to be announced to meet with more global fans.
DAY6's fourth studio album 'The DECADE' will be available for streaming on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 5th of next month.
