"The Hidden Eye" reactions are discussed by So Yu and Park Ha-sun.
On the 11th, a press conference was held to mark the first anniversary of MBC Every1's "The Hidden Eye" at the MBC Dream Center in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Present at the conference were Kim Sung-joo, Park Ha-sun, So Yu, Kim Dong-hyun, Kwon Il-yong, Pyun Chang-won, Lee Dae-woo, along with PD Hwang Sung-kyu and Broadcast Headquarters Chief Kim Gu-san, sharing their thoughts.
"The Hidden Eye" is a crime analysis commentary show that analyzes incidents and accidents through various videos such as CCTV, body cameras, and dash cameras. It has consistently received positive reviews over the past year and is considered to have pioneered a new genre of "crime prevention program."
Park Ha-sun and So Yu, as participants and primary viewers of "The Hidden Eye," have been showcasing brilliant reactions every week. Their honest emotional expressions are increasing viewer engagement. When asked if they have their own criteria for reactions, So Yu first mentioned, "I try to restrain my expressions to a reasonable extent. Because even I want to curse, but I can't. I only curse internally."
So Yu said, "I can't hide my angry facial expressions, but since it's broadcast, I hold back a lot when expressing myself. I try to practice restraint, but honestly, after I watch, I feel really angry and sad, and I'm curious about what will happen next. It feels like a trauma, and I think things will be discussed this way and that way. It feels stressful. I seem to be someone who tries to practice restraint."
Listening to So Yu's story, Park Ha-sun responded, "So that's how it is. When I monitor, I always look unattractive, but So Yu always looks pretty," gaining insight and bringing a smile.
Regarding her experiences often appearing on "The Hidden Eye," Park Ha-sun stated, "In the preliminary interviews, you can't possibly cover all experiences, but the main experiences are sometimes addressed. Now, I trust the production team and curse, knowing they edit it well. I feel comfortable doing it now."
Meanwhile, MBC Every1's "The Hidden Eye" airs every Monday at 7:40 p.m.
