Singer Lee Mi-joo, a former member of the girl group Lovelyz, sparked attention by revealing her first car, a Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 'G-Wagen' worth about 250 million won.
On the 11th, a video titled 'I will first reveal my G-Wagen! (feat. Hand wash on a rainy day)' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Just Lee Mi-joo.'
In the video, Lee Mi-joo introduced the Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 she purchased three years ago, saying, 'I was lazy to get a driver's license, but I thought that if I reserved the car first, I should get it, so I made the reservation.' She also noted, 'People said this car is pretty, so I chose it.'
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is considered an icon of off-road vehicles and is a sports utility vehicle (SUV). According to the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association (KAIDA), a total of 2,074 G-Class vehicles (including AMG) were sold domestically from January to July of this year.
The AMG G63 is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo gasoline engine, boasting a maximum output of 585 horsepower and a maximum torque of 86.7 kgf·m. Combined with a 48V mild hybrid system and a 9-speed transmission, it delivers powerful driving performance along with efficiency. The combined fuel economy is 5.6 km/L.
