Kim Jun-ho from My Little Old Boy worried whether his second child would also be short.
In the SBS entertainment show My Little Old Boy, which aired on the 10th, Heo Gyeong-hwan expressed his complex about being 'short' while visiting a hospital with Kim Jun-ho.
On this day, Heo Gyeong-hwan said, "I seriously came thinking this might be my last chance to grow in my life. So, I will have a consultation today, and if it's okay, I will make a reservation right away." Upon hearing this, Kim Jun-ho asked, "For surgery to grow taller?" and studio member Seo Jang-hoon expressed disbelief, asking, "Heo Gyeong-hwan is turning 50 the day after tomorrow; do you really think he will grow taller?"
All this time, Heo Gyeong-hwan felt humiliation as a shorter person and showed signs of shrinking back to the point of not standing up straight while on a blind date, revealing his complex about his height. Heo Gyeong-hwan said, "I have often had to deal with being short," and his mother lamented, "I didn't know he was struggling so much."
Heo Gyeong-hwan also noted, "I really think this is my last chance, and the reason I haven't married might be because I'm 168 cm tall. I need to make one last effort." He added, "Recently, I found blind dating difficult because of my height. Honestly, it's not just that the others are tall, but I feel really short too. I was intimidated."
In response, Kim Jun-ho remarked, "Still, you have the looks of an actor. You've made a lot of money and have comedy skills. You just need to be tall. You have everything except for height." This drew laughter.
Then Heo Gyeong-hwan said, "You should give hope to our future nephews and nieces as well," and Kim Jun-ho replied, "If I see you today and if you come out alright after the surgery, I might have to reconsider. I lived at 169 cm until I was 50, but I want to try living at 175 cm."
He continued, "In fact, since middle school, I was told to eat spinach and drink milk, so I ate a lot, but I didn't grow at all," and he expressed his worries about his second child, saying, "My mother is short. This must be genetic. Will our child be short too?"
