Actor Ahn Jae-wook from 'My Little Old Boy' revealed that he met BIGBANG's Taeyang as a competitor at a kindergarten sports day.
In the episode of SBS's entertainment show 'My Little Old Boy' (hereinafter 'MiwooSae'), which aired on the 10th, Ahn Jae-wook appeared as a special MC and shared an anecdote about meeting BIGBANG's Taeyang at kindergarten.
Ahn Jae-wook, who appeared dressed as the chairman from the recently concluded weekend drama 'For Eagle Brothers', said, 'I came out wearing this outfit because I heard you enjoyed the drama.'
Ahn Jae-wook, who boasts of his youthfulness, noted that he is friends with Shin Dong-yup from college, saying, 'No matter how close we are, I've been keeping my distance from drinking with Dong-yup and focusing on health management.' He then jokingly remarked about Shin Dong-yup, saying, 'His face already looks (bad).'
When asked about his wife's reaction after watching a kissing scene with Um Ji-won in the drama, Ahn Jae-wook said, 'My wife is also a musical actress, so my love started on stage when I kissed her. My wife tends to be understanding. When we watch together, she looks over and smiles while nudging me on the shoulder.'
Shin Dong-yup wondered, 'I'm really curious. You met your wife while working on a musical, and then you started dating in the middle of it. Does the intensity of the kiss change when you can't see each other from afar?'
Ahn Jae-wook replied, 'We started dating during practice, but during the actual performance, I was more cautious because I was worried it might show. I was particularly careful that our relationship wouldn't be seen as, 'What is this?' from other people's perspectives.'
Shin Dong-yup mentioned, 'It's a hope for the sons of 'My Little Old Boy.' I got married and had my first child at 46 and my second at 51.' Ahn Jae-wook, who got married late at 45, expressed his desire for a third child, stating, 'After the second one, we agreed to seek medical help,' and added, 'Recently, I've suddenly been thinking, what if there's a third? It would be physically challenging though.'
Especially, Ahn Jae-wook is paying attention to his children's sports days. He said, 'That starts from the first child at kindergarten. It's really nerve-wracking. I worry about making a fool of myself. What if I'm called? That's what I was really worried about,' and went on to say, 'At the recent second child's sports day, one of the dads standing in the same line as me was BIGBANG's Taeyang.'
He added, 'Other dads are 10 years younger, but in my mind, I'm sharing the same line as Taeyang,' and noted, 'Taeyang came in first, and I came in 2nd or 3rd.'
