'Second Signal' filming has finally concluded.
On the 11th, a representative from tvN's new drama 'Second Signal' stated to OSEN, "Filming for the project will conclude today with the ongoing shoot."
In relation to this, another broadcasting representative explained to OSEN, "The final filming is currently underway. Post-production will take place after filming concludes."
'Second Signal' is a sequel to the tvN drama 'Signal', which aired in 2016. 'Signal' is a investigative drama where detectives from the present and the past, connected through a desperate signal (radio) from the past, delve into old unresolved cases. It received praise for the intense narrative unique to writer Kim Eun-hee, who has been acclaimed for works like 'Sign' and 'Kingdom.'
Taking this into account, the produced 'Second Signal' has reassembled original members including actors Kim Hye-soo, Lee Je-hoon, and Jo Jin-woong. The production team, which began its first shoot in February, plans to dedicate efforts to post-production after wrapping up the approximately six-month filming today (the 11th).
'Second Signal' will follow the first season with writer Kim Eun-hee penning the script and director Ahn Tae-jin from the movie 'Night Owl' at the helm. It is scheduled to air on tvN in 2026.
