The group TWS has solidified its position as 'the hottest K-pop hopeful' by attracting about 50,000 spectators during their first tour, which took place simultaneously with their debut in Japan.
TWS (Shin Yoo, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, Kyung Min) decorated the finale of their month-long tour by holding their last performance of the '2025 TWS TOUR '24/7:WITH:US' IN JAPAN (hereafter 24/7:WITH:US) on the 9th and 10th at the K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
During the performance, TWS said, "We are really happy to hold a solo concert in such a large venue. It became possible because of the 42 (fan club name) who love us as we are," and added, "I hope these moments we share will remain in our hearts and be a brilliant memory of our youth when we recall them during difficult or tiring times." While expressing his thoughts in turn, leader Shin Yoo surprised the audience by announcing, "TWS will make a comeback in October."
Starting from Hiroshima on the 11th of last month, TWS held 13 performances across 6 cities, including Aichi, Fukuoka, Miyagi, Osaka, and Kanagawa. This tour demonstrated their sharp rise in popularity, with sold-out shows in most cities, necessitating the opening of additional seats with some restricted views.
On stage, TWS exploded with a freer and more relaxed energy. They filled about three hours of running time with an impressive set of 20 songs, including the debut single tracks and the Japanese version of 'plot twist - Japanese ver.-' alongside 'Nice to see you again' (originally はじめまして/하지메마시테), 'I Want You to be My N,' 'Isn't It Cool to Jump with Your Heart?,' 'Double Take,' and 'Draw a Comma instead of a Period (Comma).'
In particular, during the dance break of 'Freestyle,' member Ji Hoon added a special touch by showcasing new freestyle moves at every performance. The members expressed their enthusiasm by unleashing various ad libs toward the audience as they sang 'GO BACK.' From cute charm to powerful remarks, the unexpected 'confessions' elicited cheers from fans.
Throughout the tour, TWS's passion shined both on and off stage. They appeared on popular terrestrial programs and local broadcasts, conducting interviews and interacting with fans by learning local dialects and discussing regional specialties during each performance. At the Kanagawa concert, after finishing the encore stage, they returned for a surprise double encore performance of 'hey! hey!' and 'plot twist - Japanese ver.-,' thrilling the fans.
Since their debut in Japan on the 2nd of last month, TWS has achieved remarkable success. Their first single 'Nice to see you again' topped the Oricon and Billboard Japan main charts in its first week, achieving a total of four championships and surpassing 100,000 cumulative sales to receive a 'Gold' certification from the Japanese Record Association.
After successfully concluding their Japan tour, TWS will perform on the stage of the largest local music festival, 'Rock in Japan Festival 2025,' on September 15 at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City, Japan.
