Singer 10CM has been selected as the eighth host of KBS's representative music talk show 'The Seasons.'
This news was delivered during 10CM's solo concert '5.0' encore stage held at the Olympic Handball Arena in Seoul on the 10th. Near the end of the performance, 10CM surprised the audience by announcing, "I am the next host of 'The Seasons,' which follows 'Park Bogum's Cantabile,'" and the audience erupted in explosive cheers. 10CM noted, "I am so nervous and excited to take on the role of host. The show will air every Friday starting in September," heightening expectations.
'The Seasons' is KBS's flagship late-night music program that has been hosted in relay by top domestic artists such as Jay Park, Choi Jeong-hoon (Jannabi), AKMU, Lee Hyori, Zico, Lee Young-ji, and Park Bogum since 2023. 10CM holds the record for the most appearances across both 'Yoo Hee-yeol's Sketchbook' and 'The Seasons' series. This season marks a special significance as 10CM takes on the role of host, continuing the tradition and value of the music talk show.
10CM set a new milestone in the music industry by being the first indie band to successfully hold a solo concert at the gymnastics arena (currently KSPO DOME) and has received immense love by producing numerous hit songs such as 'Stalker,' 'Concert,' and 'Gradient.' Recently, with the release of 'Hoping to Reach You,' he has proven his unwavering strength by dominating the music chart for an extended period.
