'Trot Music Awards 2025' sparked excitement in homes.
'Trot Music Awards 2025' (TROT MUSIC AWARDS 2025) was held on the 28th of last month at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Ilsan, and it was broadcast on SBS on the 10th.
On that day, the awards ceremony was hosted by the nation's MC Kim Sung-joo for the second consecutive year, showcasing his unwavering hosting skills while leading the ceremony with wit and charm. The opening was led by Kim Hee-jae, Son Tae-jin, Song Ga-in, Jang Min-ho, Jeon Yoo-jin, Ahn Seong-hoon, and Jeon Yoo-jin, who brought the narrative of their lives and journeys to the stage, in line with the theme of 'Path' as part of the concept of 'Trot Music Awards 2025', through Nah Hoon-a's 'Life.'
Then, Park Sung-on, Lee Soo-yeon, Bin Ye-seo, and Hwang Min-ho, the four promising stars responsible for the future of trot, completed the late Song Dae-kwan's hit songs 'Four Beats' and 'Pop Song' in their own style. Talented singers like Go Jeong-woo, Kim Yong-phil, Kim Hee-jin, and Song Min-jun each presented classic trot songs that have always been with us through the four seasons, and they also sang Jo Yong-pil's 'Let's Go on a Trip' to elevate the mood. All performers took the stage together to conclude the 'Trot Music Awards 2025' by singing Seol Un-do's 'Let's All Cha Cha Cha.'
These stages not only maximized the charm of the singers but also added dazzling performances comparable to K-POP idol shows, earning a hot response from the audience, and that excitement was conveyed right into homes.
'Trot Music Awards 2025' left a meaning beyond an awards ceremony, gathering senior and junior artists representing the history of trot in Korea, following last year. These artists acknowledged their achievements in bringing laughter and emotion to the public over the past year and delivered a variety of performances, culminating in what is undeniably the best trot festival.
