Lee Si-young directly mentioned the recent controversy about his bad manners at the American restaurant on his personal social media on the 10th.
He said, "It seems I always check to ensure nothing is wrong when uploading photos or videos to my feed, but I still make mistakes. I feel sorry for those who felt uncomfortable because of the previous video. I will be more careful in the future. I hope everyone wraps up the remaining weekend well."
Earlier, on the 5th, Lee Si-young shared a video capturing the moment he visited a restaurant with his eldest son at Long Island Beach in the U.S. Although it was a pleasant time, the public reaction was cold. In the video, it appeared as though Lee's son was moving away from their table towards another table, and Lee seemed not to stop him.
Moreover, foreign customers at the adjacent table appeared to be conscious of Lee's filming. This led to criticisms regarding his child-rearing practices. Following this, five days after the controversy, Lee Si-young expressed his apology.
In addition, Lee Si-young posted a new video. The published video showed Lee Si-young and his eldest son exercising in a small soccer field at a campsite. Lee remarked, "Although it's small and cozy, I discovered a campsite with a beautiful valley and a soccer field full of green."

Lee Si-young married her ex-husband, a businessman nine years her senior, in 2017, and gave birth to her eldest son the following year. However, she announced her divorce in March this year, causing disappointment.
