As One's Lee Min unexpectedly passed away, Crystal shared her sorrow after completing the funeral rites.
On the 10th, Crystal wrote on her social media, "The last few days have been the hardest time of my life. The sadness of losing my singing partner, best friend, and my other half. I have completely broken down. A large piece of my heart has vanished, and that emptiness seems it can never be filled. When mentioning Min, Crystal was also mentioned. We were always like one body. We spent more than half of our lives together, and the first 15 years were perfectly intertwined. We lived as As One, eating, breathing, and sharing the same life."
He continued, "I didn't want to post anything. It was just too painful. But thanks to your overflowing love and support, I realized that I'm not going through this sorrow alone. Many people loved Min, and they will feel this loss as deeply as I do. Min was unconditional love and joy. She loved shopping, eating, and laughing. She would wait in line for hours if the food was delicious. She loved sharing and had so much love to give. Min was one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met."
Lee Min debuted with Crystal in 1999 with the first album "Day By Day" and released numerous hit songs, including "I Want You," "I Wish You Didn't Know," "Not at All," "Love +," and "Mr. Ajo." She established herself as a legend in the Korean R&B female duo scene, receiving immense love from music fans. She was found dead at her home in Seoul on the evening of the 5th. She was 46. It's reported that her husband found her upon returning home from work. Following the wishes of the bereaved family, the funeral was held quietly, and the funeral rites were conducted on the morning of the 9th.
Crystal, who rushed back from the U.S. upon hearing the sad news, said, "In the past few days, Min has been surrounded by the love of people who were a part of our lives for the last 26 years. It was a bittersweet journey of memories I never want to experience again. Honestly, I thank you for all your love, stories, and support. I thank you for allowing us to do what we loved for so long. I thank you for completing us."
He added, "Yesterday, we sent Min off. Now, Min will be in a better place. Soaring, flying, and moving on. Because tranquility was not meant for Min. I find comfort in knowing that Min is with her mother and our lovely two puppies. I will miss you every day, every moment, my Mini-per. My friend. My sister. My other half."
