Broadcaster Han Seong-joo, a former announcer, has revealed her recent status, drawing attention with her firm response to malicious comments.
Recently, Han Seong-joo shared a photo along with the message "Let's make today a happy one" on her personal social media.
The released photo shows Han Seong-joo smiling broadly with her flawless white skin. Her short bob hairstyle catches the eye. She also revealed a two-shot taken with figure skating queen Kim Yuna, a fellow alumna from Korea University.
In response to this, a netizen commented, "Everyone experiences physical and emotional love. Because you are a celebrity, it has become a public issue and may have approached Seong-joo as a pain. Thank you for enduring it and holding on."
In response, Han Seong-joo said, "Thank you for your words. Sometimes, pretending not to know can also be a different form of encouragement. Hehe."
Earlier, in 2011, Han Seong-joo halted her activities due to the leak of a video containing her private life with her then-boyfriend, and she has not been active for over 14 years.

Meanwhile, Han Seong-joo is a broadcaster and actress who won the Miss Korea title in 1994. She debuted as an actress in 1995, passed the SBS announcer exam the following year, and got married in 1999, but divorced after 10 months.
In 2011, essentially retiring from broadcasting, Han Seong-joo resumed her studies in horticultural therapy, which she had paused, and earned a doctorate in horticultural therapy from the health department of Dankook University Graduate School. In 2019, it was reported that she was working at a university hospital as a horticultural therapy expert.
In 2023, she attracted attention by taking the stage as a member of the cheering squad 'Roar 93' for the 30th anniversary of the class of '93 at Korea University during the rugby match at the 2023 Korea University and Yonsei University Friendship Games.
