Group Lovelyz's former singer Lee Mi-joo suggested creating content while smiling at malicious comments directed at her.
On the 8th, a short content titled "Review of Mi-joo's Jeep Grand Cherokee reveal" was released on Lee Mi-joo's YouTube channel "Just Lee Mi-joo." It focused on the reactions that poured in after Mi-joo revealed her first car through YouTube.
First, Lee Mi-joo expressed joy as the views surpassed 330,000 just a few days after the content was released, saying, "I posted it 4 days ago, and there are 300,000 views. Thank you. Why are all of you watching this so much?"
Then, Lee Mi-joo wondered, "But it hasn't been marked with 'adult content'" and the production team explained, "Everyone said it was too wholesome." Lee Mi-joo replied, "That can't be true. It truly can't be. I thought it was quite provocative," and the production team mentioned, "Our 12-year-olds didn't get marked either."
As she reviewed the content after its release, Lee Mi-joo conveyed, "They say 'Don't expose Mi-joo.' They told me not to expose myself," and added, "I see the comments. I have seen some malicious comments."
Finding a malicious comment, Lee Mi-joo read it out loud, saying, "It's just certifying that their head is empty. With that money, they could buy a Palisade and still have money left," and then she drew attention by saying, "But the reply underneath was, 'Can you afford a Palisade?'"
Lee Mi-joo, who laughed off unprovoked malicious comments, added, "Next time, I will try reading some malicious comments. I think it will be very fun."
Furthermore, Lee Mi-joo also directly read malicious comments and DMs (direct messages) in recently released content. When questioned by the production team about whether she had ever made a mistake on social media, she responded, "No. I often receive messages asking to borrow money and a lot of insults as well."
While doing so, Lee Mi-joo found a message filled with profanity and read it with a smile: "You've become a successful woman. I hope your face isn't shown on air. You're just coming to cause trouble and only take up airtime. The more I think about it, the angrier I get." Despite the shocking profanity, Lee Mi-joo commented, "Isn't it funny?" and added, "I don't report them. If I report them, won't I not receive messages anymore?"
