The group MONSTA X delivered big laughs with their impressive sketch performance.
MONSTA X recently released a video of their reality series 'MON Eat It Up EP.55 MX Health Research Institute part.4' through their official YouTube channel.
That day, MONSTA X continued the fourth sketch under the concept of 'MX Health Research Institute.' The members, each playing the roles of Director Son Hyun-woo, Deputy Lee Min-hyuk, Deputy Yoo Ki-hyun, and Staff Lee Joo-heon, conducted a new employee interview to fill the vacancy of IM staff who had been sent abroad, and Hyung-won challenged himself in the intern interview.
As the serious interview began, Hyung-won appeared sipping coffee, attracting attention with a confident attitude saying, "May I sit?" Ki-hyun scolded Hyung-won, who sat cross-legged, and Joo-heon revealed his 'old man power' by saying, "I'm sorry, but I can't hear anything you're saying." However, Hyung-won responded to Joo-heon, saying, "Is that person also an employee?" making everyone laugh with his unyielding demeanor.
Next, the resume verification began. Hyung-won expressed confidence about his K-pop dance skills, saying, "I can handle any challenge," and demonstrated the challenge of Jennie's 'like JENNIE.' In response, Joo-heon requested a surprise challenge from Shownu, saying, "Our director is also good at it," and although Shownu seemed momentarily flustered, he actively engaged in the challenge, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere.
As members' in-depth interviews evaluated cooking skills, Hyung-won answered without hesitation, prompting Joo-heon to strike back, saying, "We are the interviewers, why are you speaking informally?" However, Hyung-won replied, "You're not my boss yet," and made everyone speechless with his bold remark, saying, "I was the only applicant here."
Amid the nerve-wracking interview, Hyung-won even added a setting where he is the son of a conglomerate's chairman in the skit and suggested 'premium welfare,' ultimately making it through the interview. Subsequently, Hyung-won's first company dinner as an intern with the members took place. Hyung-won maintained his unabashed character by saying, "I arranged for cars for each of us to go home after the dinner," continuing to evoke laughter from the members.
As the atmosphere grew lively, Ki-hyun posed a sharp question to Hyung-won, who boasted about placing gold bullion in the employees' lockers, asking, "How much is one gold bullion worth?" In response, Hyung-won made everyone admire him with a witty reply, saying, "Don't evaluate the size of my heart in terms of money."
MONSTA X's reality series 'MON Eat It Up' can be viewed every Friday at 8:30 p.m. on the official MONSTA X YouTube channel. MONSTA X is expected to release their mini-album 'THE X' on Sept. 1 and to engage in various activities.
