The participant Lee Seung-chan from 'Better Late Than Single' expressed the bittersweetness of extensive editing along with his thoughts on the show's conclusion.
On the 9th, Lee Seung-chan shared on his personal account, "I have been excited all day, and every moment was joyful and happy. I will cherish these precious memories beautifully."
He added, "Thank you to the wonderful Seo In-guk and the production team, to my fellow cast members with whom I shared emotions over a long time, and to all my acquaintances and fans who provided overwhelming support."
Lee Seung-chan, a participant from the Netflix dating reality show 'Better Late Than Single' that concluded last month, is known as the 'mackerel' who was a late addition to the cast.
In the program, much of the footage featuring Seung-chan and Mi-ji was edited out, and in relation to this, the production team also apologized, noting, "We feel a sense of regret towards the two mackerels."
Along with his thoughts on the conclusion, Seung-chan mentioned, "The clothes that the personal stylist of Seo In-guk coordinated for the shooting were all done by him," and added various TMI, saying, "Many people ask if my height is about the average height of a male. However, it's just that friends like Sang-hoo actually have heights close to 190."
He also said, "The drinks and cookies I personally bought for my fellow cast members seem to have appeared more on the show than I did," while he could not hide his bitterness about the extensive editing.
Meanwhile, Netflix's 'Better Late Than Single' is a makeover dating reality show that helps awkward singletons experience their first love, with a total of 2 couples selected as final matches before its conclusion.
