The band DAY6 has opened content that allows fans to reflect on the group's musical journey.
On the 4th, DAY6 posted 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Announcement: The DECADE of us' on the group's official SNS channel and introduced a project to celebrate their 10th anniversary. On the 9th, they excited fans by showcasing visual artwork as part of the project.
The first visual artwork was released at 9:07 a.m. and featured the debut song 'Congratulations,' complemented by warm illustrations that created a cozy atmosphere. Following this, at 2:06 p.m., 'Pretty' was revealed, a song from the Every DAY6 project back in 2017, which reminds listeners of the band's honed musicality developed through their consistent songwriting efforts. The 'My Day' artwork, released at 6:07 p.m., evoked tender emotions by symbolizing the long-standing companionship with My Day, the official fandom name of DAY6.
DAY6 will return with a new regular album titled 'The DECADE' on September 5, approximately 5 years and 11 months after their album 'The Book of Us: Entropy.' Before that, they will hold a solo concert 'DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour < The DECADE >' at Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City on August 30 and 31, celebrating their 10th anniversary before the comeback. The Goyang concert marks the first time a domestic band will hold a solo performance at Goyang Sports Complex and carries special significance as it opens the 10th-anniversary tour.
Since their debut on September 7, 2015, DAY6 has continued to make strides as a representative K-pop band through new song releases and various performances this year. In May, their digital single 'Maybe Tomorrow' ranked high on various domestic music charts, and from the 9th to the 11th and 16th to the 18th of the same month, they drew a total of 96,000 spectators through six solo performances at KSPO DOME in Songpa District, Seoul, culminating in the finale of their world tour 'DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR 'FOREVER YOUNG.' From July 18 to 20 and 25 to 27, they held their fourth official fan meeting 'DAY6 4TH FANMEETING 'PIER 10: All My Days' to meet with fans.
