Ikemokase Kim Mi-ryeong makes her first appearance on 'It's a relief to take a good rest.'
The 60th episode of the MBC entertainment program 'It's a relief to take a good rest' (directed by Kim Myung-jin, Kim Moon-seob, Shin Hyun-bin, Lee Jun-beom, written by Kwon Jeong-hee, hereinafter 'it's relief') airing on the 11th, will have original chefs Lee Yeon-bok, Raymond Kim, and Jeong Ho-young, along with 'Ikemokase' Kim Mi-ryeong, joining in a historic chef team presenting an operation of a desert island restaurant. On that day, a young woman wearing a hanbok arrives on the desert island and catches the attention of the original chefs and supporting chefs. She is none other than Kim Mi-ryeong, the original 'Ikemokase 1st,' who came specially sent by 'CEO An' Ahn Jung-hwan to serve Korean cuisine to the guests.
Ikemokase, who normally serves hundreds of customers a day, confidently states, "I came to see if I could help," showcasing remarkable confidence from her entrance. The original chefs remarked that "cooking on a desert island is not easy," and Ikemokase countered, "Don't worry because I'm here," exuding charisma. It remains to be seen whether Ikemokase will deliver a performance worthy of this confidence.
Later, Ikemokase changes from her hanbok into work clothes and heads out to gather shellfish. In the studio, they express their surprise, noting, "It's the first time I've seen Ikemokase out of her hanbok." From her first shellfish gathering, Ikemokase immediately identifies seafood that even the original chefs did not know, showing off her excellent 'My hands, my catch' skills and quickly overpowering the chef team.
Meanwhile, MBC's 'It's a relief to take a good rest' will air on August 11, Monday night at 9 p.m., showcasing the first shellfish gathering of Ikemokase Kim Mi-ryeong, who jumped into the sea even after shedding her identity of hanbok.
