On the 8th, Yoon Jong-shin posted on his social media, saying, "My Crohn's teacher, Professor Yang Seok-kyun of Asan Medical Center, retired, and I received my last treatment yesterday," along with a photo.
In the released photo, Yoon Jong-shin is smiling brightly next to Professor Yang Seok-kyun. The two have shared 20 years together as doctor and patient, protecting Yoon Jong-shin's health.
Yoon Jong-shin sincerely thanked, saying, "Thanks to you, I have lived a very healthy life. You have worked hard for a long time. I appreciate it."
Earlier, Yoon Jong-shin revealed on a broadcast that he underwent surgery to remove 60 cm of his small intestine due to narrowing. Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that requires consistent management and treatment.
As Yoon Jong-shin wrapped up his 20-year relationship, fans sent messages of support, saying, "The professor is amazing," "I hope Yoon Jong-shin stays healthy for a long time," and "20 years means you are like family."
