World-renowned maestro Ji Ye-eun returns to 'Crazy Rich Korean'.
On the 10th, KBS2's entertainment program 'Crazy Rich Korean' will reveal Ji Ye-eun's journey developing her spectacular career as a world-class maestro while fulfilling her schedule in the Netherlands.
Ji Ye-eun, selected as a special list judge for the global conductor competition 'ICCR', heads to Rotterdam in the Netherlands for the final round judging where the winner will be determined. Sitting in the judging seat, Ji Ye-eun takes out a red pen and sharply analyzes not only the participants' conducting but also their every action.
Regarding her strict judging, Ji Ye-eun noted, "It's natural for it to be hard. Nothing in this world is free. Study hard!" She leaves cold advice for junior conductors dreaming of conducting. Nevertheless, she also expresses her affection for her juniors, saying, "I'm always cheering for you. I can empathize with how they feel when they first start conducting."
On that day, Ji Ye-eun also revealed an anecdote saying, "I conducted an opera, and after the first act, the singers told me, 'You look thinner.' After the second act, they said, 'You definitely seem to have lost weight.'" This highlights that intense conducting leads to significant physical exhaustion.
Additionally, the behind-the-scenes story of MC Ji Ye-eun, who nearly debuted as a girl group member, will be unveiled. Ji Ye-eun confessed, "I liked Girls' Generation, so being in a girl group was my dream. I auditioned for girl groups at SM and JYP. I didn't audition for YG because I had different musical views," surprising everyone. Following this, she showcased her recent duet song 'Milkshake' live with cute choreography, brightening the studio atmosphere.
