Home Alone's Guseonghwan failed in his wallpapering challenge.
On the 8th, the MBC entertainment show Home Alone (hereafter 'Home Alone') depicted Guseonghwan taking on the wallpapering task himself.
That day, Guseonghwan confessed, "I don't know exactly where it's leaking. If it rained, it would have been a disaster," as he mentioned the water damage caused by heavy rainfall.
He continued, "I knew water was leaking originally. I was surprised that last week, when there was a lot of rain and wind, the wallpaper got soaked like Niagara Falls."
When Park Narae said, "You should call a company," Guseonghwan replied, "I did it last year, but I was scammed. They said exactly 4 million won. The two brothers, what did they say to me? They said, 'We'll definitely catch it. We have never failed at this, and we will fix it until it is blocked.' They even signed a contract but did it twice and then stopped. They ghosted me."
Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Are you looking for them publicly?" and Guseonghwan said, "They didn't answer the phone, so I pressed *23# and tried to do it sneakily, but they rejected my call. This was my first time trying it. I was jumping through hoops to catch the two brothers."
Meanwhile, Guseonghwan bought various tools needed for the work at a hardware store near his home and headed back home. On the way, he greeted neighborhood residents, and as soon as he arrived home, he carried up the tools he had bought from the hardware store.
First, Guseonghwan removed the epoxy from the rooftop and did putty work. While the roof was drying, he started on the wallpapering project in the master bedroom. He removed the existing wallpaper in the areas where water had seeped and scrubbed off the mold with a scouring pad and proceeded with waterproofing.
After taking a break while eating watermelon punch, Guseonghwan returned to the repair work. During the work, while he was wallpapering the wall where there had been mold, bubbles formed and created a bumpy surface, causing him to feel frustrated. In a rush, he turned on a fan, and Park Narae said, "You shouldn't turn on the fan. It dries faster."
In the end, Guseonghwan rolled the wallpaper again. Upon seeing this, Park Narae said, "You shouldn't scratch that carelessly," and ultimately, as feared, the wallpaper was not just rolled but tore again. Guseonghwan expressed, "I've been wallpapering all day," and Code Kunst added, "That's a total waste of a day," provoking laughter.
In an interview, Guseonghwan said, "Honestly, I want to cry right now. What have I been doing all day? I need to leave it to the experts."
