Global pop star Jennifer Lopez experienced an incident where she was denied entry to a Chanel store in Istanbul, Turkey.
According to local media reports on July 7 (local time), Lopez visited the luxury shopping mall Istinye Park in Istanbul on the 5th.
A day before her performance, while browsing luxury stores, she attempted to enter the Chanel store, but a security guard blocked her entry, saying, "The store is at capacity." The guard reportedly did not recognize Lopez at that time.
Upon being blocked, Lopez smiled and said, "I understand, no problem," before leaving the area. Later, a store employee recognized Lopez and suggested a return visit, but she politely declined and instead enjoyed shopping for tens of thousands of dollars at nearby Celine and Baimen stores for about three hours.
Lopez is currently at the tail end of her 'Up All Night: Live in 2025' world tour. Last month in Warsaw, Poland, the performance faced an unexpected situation when her stage outfit slipped, but she gained attention for her professionalism, remarking, "I'm glad I'm wearing underwear" as she continued with the show.
Approaching her 56th birthday, she is touring around the world, including Spain, Poland, and Turkey, and is set to conclude her tour on the 12th in Sardinia, Italy.
