According to the integrated ticket sales network, 'My Daughter is a Zombie' recorded 3,000,558 cumulative viewers as of 8:05 p.m. on Aug. 9 (Saturday). This marks the fifth highest box office record in 2025 and is the fastest among films released this year, surpassing 'Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning' (23 days), 'YADANG: The Snitch' (27 days), 'F1 The Movie' (40 days), and 'Mickey 17' (39 days).
Additionally, it matched the record of 'Smuggling', the top-grossing film of summer 2023, and surpassed last year's summer hit 'Pilot' by a day, solidifying Jo Jung-suk's reputation as the standard for summer blockbusters.
Meanwhile, actors Jo Jung-suk, Lee Jung-eun, Jo Yeo-jung, Yoon Kyung-ho, Choi Yu-ri, and director Phil Kim released a video on NEW's official social media, expressing their gratitude for surpassing 3 million viewers and previewing their '3 million promise.'
