Ten years ago, the 'Documentary Three Days' that promised a meeting is back.
On the 8th, KBS2 'Documentary Three Days' announced through its official account, "The promise of August 15, 2015, 'Let's meet here on August 15, 2025.' So we decided to leave for that place."
It continued, "The story of that day ten years ago," and a special edition of 'Documentary Three Days' titled 'About Time' was announced, drawing attention.
The 'Documentary Three Days' aired during the summer of 2015. At that time, the production team met young people traveling nationwide on the train to Tomorrow. Near the end of the shoot, they met two female university students at Andong Station. They said they wanted to travel again in ten years and told the production team, "Make sure to shoot the documentary, even after ten years."
The production team laughed and asked, "Will we still be doing this then?" The students replied, "Then let's meet here on August 15, 2025," and made a spontaneous promise. The three linked their pinky fingers, promising to meet in ten years, and now, time has passed, and it has become 2025.
That scene has recently spread widely on social media and online communities, receiving renewed attention, with corporations like Albamon, Coupang, and KORAIL Retail responding to the scene. KBS also released a new video titled 'The Promise of Youth from Ten Years Ago at Andong Station, 7:48 a.m. on August 15, 2025' through its YouTube channel.
The cinematographer also posted on his SNS, "After the train departed, nine summers have passed, and the tenth day is approaching," adding to the emotion. Consequently, voices supporting the revival of 'Documentary Three Days' while hoping for the reunion of the female university students and the production team grew louder among netizens.
Amid overwhelming support, KBS2 has confirmed the airing of the special edition, increasing anticipation.
Meanwhile, KBS2 'Documentary Three Days Special Edition - About Time' will be broadcast on Friday, the 22nd, in the afternoon.
