Koo Seong-hwan confessed to leak damage while attempting to do it himself.
The episode aired on the 8th of MBC's entertainment program "Home Alone" (hereafter referred to as "Home Alone") showed Koo Seong-hwan trying his hand at wallpapering after Park Na-rae.
That day, Koo Seong-hwan confessed to the leak damage caused by heavy rain. He talked about the moldy wallpaper in his bedroom, saying, "I don't precisely know where it's leaking. It became a real mess when it rained last week. I knew water was leaking originally. The shocking thing was that during last week's rainstorm, the wallpaper got soaked like Niagara Falls."
When Park Na-rae suggested, "You should call a professional," Koo Seong-hwan replied, "I did it last year but got scammed. Two brothers specifically told me, 'We will definitely fix it. We've never missed fixing something and we will fix it until it's done.' I even signed a contract, but they only did it twice and never returned, they ghosted me," drawing attention with his confession of being scammed.
Hearing this, Jeon Hyun-moo reacted, saying, "Are you publicly looking for them?" Koo Seong-hwan sighed, "They don't answer the phone, so I tried dialing *23# pretending it wasn't me, but they blocked my number. This was my first time doing something like that. I was just trying to catch those two brothers."
Afterwards, he bought various tools needed for the job at a nearby hardware store and headed home. On the way home, Koo Seong-hwan affectionately called, "The Man from Nowhere."
"The Man from Nowhere" turned out to be the country's oldest handcycle athlete, and Koo Seong-hwan stated, "This is a neighborhood where national merit awardees live. Thus, there are many people who have physical difficulties."

"The Man from Nowhere" welcomed Koo Seong-hwan, calling him the "star of the cross-shaped village," while humorously advising, "You don't need to appear on 'Home Alone' anymore, so hurry up and get married."
Meanwhile, Koo Seong-hwan removed the epoxy from the roof and did putty work before starting the wallpapering in the bedroom while the roof was drying. After removing the old wallpaper in the moldy area and scrubbing away the mold, he applied waterproofing and enjoyed watermelon punch for dessert while waiting for it to dry.
Then, as he resumed the repair work, he applied the wallpaper in one go, which caused air bubbles and an uneven situation. Moreover, Koo Seong-hwan tried to smooth out the wrinkled wallpaper using a roller. In response, Park Na-rae warned, "You shouldn't scrape that carelessly."
Ultimately, the wallpaper tore. Koo Seong-hwan said, "I spent the whole day wallpapering," and Code Kunst humorously pointed out, "What a waste of a day!"
In a subsequent interview, Koo Seong-hwan revealed, "Honestly, I feel like crying because it's so hard. What did I do all day? I like things to be clean and orderly, but now I just want to tear everything down. I'm really feeling annoyed right now," he added. "I think anything should be left to the professionals. I'm planning to sleep in the living room tonight. I don't want to look at the bedroom anymore."
