Actor Ko Hyun-jung has unexpectedly revealed the filming site of the SBS new drama "The Mantis: Original Sin."
On the 8th, Ko Hyun-jung posted a photo taken with Jang Dong-yoon and Kim Bo-ra on her social media.
In the released photo, she is seen wearing a black outerwear, with white hair and noticeable scars on her cheeks. This makeup is for her character in the show, hinting at Ko Hyun-jung's intense acting transformation.
Jang Dong-yoon and Kim Bo-ra, who are together, strike poses with bright expressions, adding to the warm atmosphere of the scene. The three will work together in "The Mantis," which premieres on Sept. 5.
In the drama, Ko Hyun-jung plays Jeong Yi-shin, a serial killer who has brutally murdered five men and has earned the nickname "The Mantis." Jang Dong-yoon plays Cha Soo-yeol, Jeong Yi-shin's son and a detective, who collaborates to solve a mimic murder case involving the mother he has hated his entire life. Kim Bo-ra plays Lee Jeong-yeon, Cha Soo-yeol's wife, who runs a pottery workshop.
Meanwhile, the original work is a French drama of the same name, and "The Mantis" combines the crime thriller genre with a unique setting of mimic murders and maternal collaborations, generating expectations.
