AKMU will hold the '2025 AKMU STANDING CONCERT [The Mischievous]' today (8th) at the Myunghwa Live Hall in Seoul, kicking off a special musical journey to beat the summer night's heat.
This concert represents a utopia unique to AKMU and its audience, embodying the artists' commitment to providing a dense and new experience solely through music and stage. It will run until the 24th, held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a total of nine performances, filled with various experimental elements.
In keeping with the keyword [The Mischievous], which embodies romance and freedom, AKMU has broken the mold of typical performances. They will change part of the setlist weekly and showcase different costume concepts. The boundaries between artists, sessions, and the audience have also been greatly blurred. The audience area is set up for standing, aimed at completing the stage as one. The full band session and chorus, personally recruited by Lee Chan-hyuk, will not be limited to specific roles on stage but will also take part as performers, providing a unique enjoyment.
As AKMU has deeply engaged with the public through music, a wide-ranging setlist is expected to captivate the audience. Iconic hit songs, along with Lee Chan-hyuk's new songs, which have recently received praise from listeners, will be presented with lively band arrangements. The proximity is expected to fill the venue with an energy that's purer and more passionate than usual.
YG Entertainment noted, 'From planning to production, choreography, and stage design, every process has been carried out under the artist's leadership,' adding, 'We prepared a concert where everyone on-site becomes the protagonist, beyond just watching a performance. We hope everyone enjoys and plays together.'
Meanwhile, AKMU's '2025 AKMU STANDING CONCERT [The Mischievous]' will run until the 24th. As it is a long-term performance, events for attendees watching multiple times are arranged; those who attend at least one performance out of the 1st to 6th shows can receive a 30% discount on tickets for shows 7th to 9th.
