Actor Goo Hye-sun (40) publicly criticized her ex-husband, actor Ahn Jae-hyun (38), for the way he consumes their divorce.
On the 8th, Goo Hye-sun posted, "Despite the divorce process with the former spouse being very unpleasant, the continuous and indirect mentions and remarks that can be inferred about the person involved working in the same industry (the act of making comments that walk the line between seriousness and joking is cowardly)."
She continued, "The behavior of those creating various sensational gossip programs asking leading questions or offering comfort is an act of secondary harm to the former spouse and is something that causes significant hurt; please be aware of this."
Goo Hye-sun expressed her displeasure, saying, "I hope that there is conscience in entertainment; even if it's just a joke meant for fun, if the person involved can feel discomfort, it should stop immediately."
She earnestly requested, "Please understand that no one in this world has the right to mock me, the person involved, to provide enjoyment to the public, and I hope my former spouse can act, gain attention, grow, and thrive based on her unique identity and authenticity, not as a subject matter related to me."
The couple married in 2016 and divorced in 2019 after three years. The following year, they divorced by mutual agreement.
