The Yang brothers, Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan, will host Korea's first brother variety show, 'Yangsebro Show,' on August 9 and 10 at the Bluesquare SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Expectations are high for the new laughter that the two brothers, who share a unique DNA, will present.
'Yangsebro Show' is a variety show that encompasses not only the stage sense honed in shows like 'Laughing Search' and 'Comedy Big League' but also the entertainment prowess demonstrated in various broadcasting activities. It promises to deliver lively energy and unique enjoyment through a variety of performances, including comedy, singing, and dancing, alongside the appearance of special guests.
In particular, Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan have showcased strong performances in public comedy starting with 'Laughing Search' and continuing to 'Comedy Big League,' creating catchphrases like 'Baribari Yangse-bari' and 'Come here! Hurry up!' They have established their presence through outstanding activities not only in public comedy but also in entertainment.
If there's an inseparable close friend for these two, it's Park Na-rae. Park Na-rae confessed in the past that she had a crush on Yang Se-chan and recently stirred up buzz by acknowledging her 'something' with Yang Se-hyung. Related to this, the true feelings of the brothers were revealed through an interview with OSEN.
For a long time, love lines have been an integral part of entertainment and comedy. Yang Se-hyung and Yang Se-chan couldn't avoid the love line as 'unmarried comedians,' and at the center of this is their close friend, comedian Park Na-rae. When asked about their thoughts on such relationship humor, Yang Se-hyung candidly said, "I don't find it unpleasant at all; it's fun."
Yang Se-hyung said, "There are a few people who have been chosen due to Na-rae's 'something business.' Everyone finds it amusing," while Yang Se-chan made a brief and strong reply of "I support it" regarding the love line between his brother Yang Se-hyung and close friend Park Na-rae, provoking laughter.
Along with this, curiosity naturally arose about their marriage. Recently, many fellow comedians have married and are raising children, and they have shared these experiences through YouTube or broadcasts. When asked about their realistic thoughts on marriage, Yang Se-hyung responded, "I don't think of it as 'I have to get married,' but rather I want to get married when the right person comes along."
In families with brothers, there is usually an implicit atmosphere of 'the older brother should go first.' When asked how they feel about this, Yang Se-hyung laughed and said, "Not at all," while Yang Se-chan admitted, "We haven't talked about it, but I think it would be good if either one of us goes."
Finally, when asked what kind of performance they would like to be remembered for before the 'Yangsebro Show,' Yang Se-hyung expressed, "I hope it becomes a performance that conveys a positive expression like 'Uh-oh~~~,'" while Yang Se-chan shared, "I hope it becomes a 'Yangsebro Show' where the audience can laugh a lot after a long time, even though we are still lacking."
Meanwhile, the duo's first performance, 'Yangsebro Show,' will take place on the 9th and 10th.
