The new boy group IDID, born through Starship's mega project "Debut's Plan," dominated the stage with their pre-debut song on Mnet's "M Countdown."
On the 7th, IDID showcased their intense charisma as super rookies during a special live broadcast at the Boryung Mud Festival to mark the 900th broadcast of "M Countdown."
Last month, IDID caught attention even before their official debut with the pre-debut song "STEP IT UP," and they proved their presence with a high-quality performance and steady live stage on the special 900th broadcast of "M Countdown."
The stage from that day overwhelmed viewers from the start. With a polished groove infused with dynamic strengths, precise formations and choreography enhanced the power of the group performance. Their stable live singing, atypical for pre-debut rookies, left a deep impression on both the audience present and the viewers watching the broadcast. Notably, the part distribution that showcased the members' synergy and smooth formation transitions demonstrated IDID's teamwork and practice.
The catchy chorus of "Step it up" and the point choreography using Finger snaps immediately stamped the atmosphere of the song and elevated the immersion of the stage. The energy that intensified towards the end and the power to focus attention was more than enough to leave a strong impression.
IDID is a seven-member boy group presented by Starship after about five years, consisting of members who have grown into all-rounders in various aspects such as singing, dancing, expression, and fan communication through "Debut's Plan."
Since their first week of pre-debut, IDID has appeared consecutively on major music broadcasts such as "M Countdown," "Music Bank," "Show! Music Core," and the "Gayo Daechukje," proving their skills, and successfully resonating with global fans through their stage at "KCON LA 2025."
This special stage of "M Countdown" was another opportunity to prove IDID's skills and potential. As they stand on the brink of their official debut, public anticipation is focused on IDID's next steps after flawlessly carrying out their pre-debut stage.
Meanwhile, IDID will release their first mini album "I did it." on September 15 and is set to hold their debut showcase at the YES24 Live Hall in Seoul on the day of their debut.
