The glory of the 69th Miss Korea title was awarded to Jeong Yeon-woo (24, Chungnam National University Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Communication Engineering), who harbors the dream of becoming an educator. On the 5th, the '69th Miss Korea Selection Contest' held at the COEX Auditorium in Gangnam, Seoul, concentrated on discovering 'multifaceted female talents representing Korea' amid numerous changes. At the center of this was Jeong Yeon-woo.

Particularly, the academic field of 'Electrical, Electronic, and Communication Engineering Education' that she majored in garnered more attention at this competition. This exemplifies that it was a platform for female talents with various backgrounds and skills, rather than a contest solely focused on appearance.
Alongside Jeong Yeon-woo, who won the title of 'Jin,' the competition also recognized Kim Bo-geum (25, Kyunghee University Dance Department) as 'Seon' and Yoo Eun-seo (26, Suwon University of Science and Technology Aviation and Tourism Department) as 'Mi.' Notably, Yoo Eun-seo is the younger sister of Yoo Si-eun, who won the title of 'Seon' at the 66th Miss Korea, marking a remarkable record of sisters both becoming Miss Korea titleholders.
On this day, the stage also attracted attention with K-pop artist Jeon So-mi's comeback stage for 'CLOSER' and a collaboration with participants. As the stage symbolizing confident and progressive women was added, enthusiastic cheers erupted from the audience.
