As the wave of mourning for the late Lee Min (real name Lee Min-young), a former member of As one, continues, a heartwarming story from a staff member who worked with her has come to light.
Mr. A, who worked with As one for 10 years, recently recalled the warm moments of the deceased on personal social media. Mr. A wrote, "Min-young, who warmly embraced me when I was naive. Like a real sister, she always looked out for us first, giving us gifts and smiling brightly when we met."
He continued, "She was someone who encouraged me to try anything and generously complimented me. It was never hard working with her, and she was a sister who brightened up those around her. I thought she was going to start her activities again after seeing her on TV, but my heart is heavy with this news."
Additionally, Mr. A expressed his longing for the deceased carefully, saying, "She was such a wonderful person, so I hope everyone mourns and commemorates her together."
Earlier, Lee Min was found dead at her home on the evening of the 5th. She was 46 years old. Her husband discovered her in a collapsed state and reported it, and the police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of her death. The agency, Brand New Music, stated, "The funeral will be held quietly according to the wishes of the bereaved family," and requested that speculation be avoided.
Lee Min debuted in 1999 as part of the female duo As one and was loved for numerous hit songs such as "I Want and I Resent" and "No Way." In May, she appeared on KBS2's "The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile," marking her return to music broadcasts after six years, and she continued her activities consistently with new song releases and featuring in June and July.
Meanwhile, the late Lee Min's mortuary was prepared at Bundang Jesaeng Hospital on the 7th, with the funeral scheduled for 5:30 a.m. on the 9th.
