Actor Yoon Kyung-ho appeared on 'You Quiz.'
Yoon Kyung-ho, upon appearing on the tvN entertainment program 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereinafter 'You Quiz') broadcast on the 6th, said, "Thank you, am I really sitting here?" while tearing up. It was the first time a guest had cried upon their entrance, surprising Yoo Jae-seok and Cho Sae-ho.
Yoon Kyung-ho, smiling awkwardly, said, "I don't know why I'm crying. I wanted to greet everyone happily, but I think I was overwhelmed with emotion." While firmly holding Yoo Jae-seok's hand, he expressed his gratitude, saying, "To be on 'You Quiz,' it's with such wonderful people (that I'm on this program)."
Yoon Kyung-ho, who is experiencing his prime after 20 years since his debut, shared some hidden family history, saying, "On such a good day, the person I think of the most is my mother. She was my number one fan. I didn't know, but my mother suffered from severe depression. Unable to overcome it, she ultimately took her own life at the age of 37."
He continued, "When good things happen, I mostly think of my mom, so after the joy comes a sense of emptiness. No one reacted to me sincerely like my mom did, no matter how much I shout. Even now, I'm in such a happy and proud position, but I feel empty because there's no one to share it with."
Finally, Yoon Kyung-ho left a video message for his late mother, saying, "Mom, I was on 'You Quiz.' When I eventually get to be by your side again, please make the side dishes you used to make and hug my grandchildren. The grandchildren will probably come late. I miss you."
Yoon Kyung-ho shed tears again for his wife, who had supported him through tough times, feeling sorry and grateful. Since he cried from the start, Yoo Jae-seok joked, "This is the first time I've seen a guest cry so much during a broadcast. We should call him 'Tear Kyung-ho.'"
In response, Yoon Kyung-ho wrote on his social media on the 7th, "Thank you for watching 'You Quiz.' I am also very grateful to those who supported me. I cried so much that I feel embarrassed. It seems I will hide for a while with a reflective heart, except for the stage greeting for 'My Daughter is a Zombie.'"
