No Hong-cheol, 300kg bike accident... "I lost consciousness" shocking confession
Broadcaster No Hong-cheol revealed that he had an accident on a bike during an off-road event in Malaysia. The sudden accident led to concerns among fans as he was seen in a wheelchair.
On the 7th, a video titled 'Shock accident involving No Hong-cheol under a 300kg bike (Malaysia off-road)' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'No Hong-cheol.' In the video, No Hong-cheol documented his experience of being invited to a famous circuit in Malaysia to participate in an off-road bike event.
No Hong-cheol expressed his excitement, saying, "There is a circuit regarded as a mecca among people who love wheels in Malaysia, and I was invited to an event held there." Upon arriving at the circuit, he shared, "When I come to a site like this, my eyes sparkle. The atmosphere is so good and I'm thrilled," demonstrating his ongoing passion.
At first, he warmed up by riding around the track with several participants and then chose his preferred bike to begin serious riding. However, problems arose during the next course, the 'dirt' track. No Hong-cheol explained the situation at the time, saying, "Honestly, I don't really prefer off-roading on rough terrain like gravel or mud. I felt uneasy because the dirt bike I chose seemed like it had fallen over before, and the brakes were weird."
However, a staff member on site suggested, "You're doing so well, let's try a new route," bringing unexpected danger. The recommended path was a challenging course with slopes and water streams, and No Hong-cheol confessed that he chose the new route feeling, "If I just take the original path, I would feel like a loser."
However, while riding through the course, an irreparable accident occurred. No Hong-cheol said, "I suddenly got very scared. Instinctively, I grabbed the brakes, and at that moment, I lost consciousness. I just fell down there." He continued, "I was pinned under a bike close to 300kg, and though I was wearing protective gear, my foot was stuck and I couldn't get up at all," recounting the urgent situation.
An ambulance and medical team were immediately dispatched to the site for emergency treatment, and No Hong-cheol stated that he moved to the airport afterward, but the pain gradually intensified. The video also revealed him in a wheelchair, further heightening fans' concerns. At the end of the video, No Hong-cheol added, "Fortunately, I avoided serious injuries, but this incident made me think I need to be more careful," and he gave a bittersweet smile.
