Singer Viola (VIOLA) has become the first artist of Studio Maum C.
Studio Maum C stated, "We recently signed an exclusive contract with Viola. We will spare no support to ensure that Viola's talents and capabilities can fully flourish."
Born in 1996, Viola is a graduate of Hanyang University's Department of Practical Music. As an all-rounder artist who can handle all genres including synth-pop, rock, and folk, she has been consistently active in music since her debut in the K-pop scene with her digital single 'This is Love' in June 2020.
In particular, Viola won a gold medal at the 30th Yoo Jae-ha Music Competition in 2019 with her song 'Contradiction' and gained public recognition by appearing on the Mnet audition program 'Focus: Folk Us'. Viola also took the stage as a messenger on behalf of Track Zero Artists at the '2022 Melon Music Awards' in November 2022.
Regarding Viola's recruitment, Studio Maum C's CEO Ma Ju-hee noted, "The moment I accidentally came across the demo with Viola's voice, I found it captivating, and it led to a first meeting as the vocalist for the OST 'If I Were' of the production 'Love is a Narrow Bridge' created by Studio Maum C. I was drawn even more by her hard work at every moment, and I thought it would be great to produce both the OST and the artist's album together." She added, "Viola's voice is mysterious and unique, complemented by her vocal skills. I believe she will become an excellent artist who can bring out various colors across different genres. Studio Maum C has established itself as an 'OST powerhouse' by successfully producing numerous OSTs, including 'Hospital Playlist' seasons 1 and 2, 'Twenty Five Twenty One', 'My Liberation Notes', and 'Resident Playbook'. As the first artist produced by Studio Maum C, Viola is set to showcase music that maximally highlights her charm and individuality, utilizing all of Studio Maum C's musical capabilities under the leadership of CEO Ma Ju-hee.
