Urban Zakapa member Kwon Soon-il paid tribute to the late Im Min of the mixed group Aizone, who passed away suddenly.
Kwon Soon-il posted on his social media on the 6th, "Min, who always welcomed us with a warm smile and sincerity when everything was unfamiliar and cautious in our rookie days. That warm heart still deeply remains in our hearts."
He continued, "The passion for music and the warm gaze towards people, the brief yet profound moments we shared with you have now become extremely precious memories. I won't forget your voice and warm heart. With love and yearning."
Im Min was found dead at her home in Seoul on the 5th. She was 46 years old. The circumstances of her death have not yet been revealed, and the police are investigating the exact cause.
Her agency, Brand New Music, announced on the 6th to OSEN, "It is true that Im Min has passed away. The police investigation is currently underway, and we ask that you refrain from excessive speculation."
Fans were shocked by the sudden news. Especially, the fact that Im Min was still active in music until recently adds to the sorrow. Im Min released the digital single 'Still My Baby' in February and 'Happy Birthday' in June, and last month, she participated as a featured artist in the song 'Just Stay as You Are' by Han Hae and Moon Se-yoon, and also appeared in KBS 2TV's 'Park Bo-gum's Cantabile.'
