That day, Koo Seong-hwan is surprised to hear that a neighbor who has difficulty walking is preparing for an international handcycling competition. He expresses his respect, saying, "I grew up emulating the always positive attitude he had," referring to him as "a neighborhood uncle." Meanwhile, Koo Seong-hwan is humorously met with neighborhood inquiries about marriage, responding to their 'marriage attack' with ice cream he bought at the store.
Additionally, a warm 'community war' unfolds between Koo Seong-hwan and the lady from the house in front. When visiting her house, where she is tending to a rooftop garden while holding a watermelon, Koo Seong-hwan returns with a basket full of various produce such as peppers, cherry tomatoes, and pumpkins. He expresses his gratitude toward the lady, who looks after him, saying, "Whenever we make eye contact, I want to take some," to which she insists, "Take more!" Koo Seong-hwan repeatedly replies, "No," gesturing to decline, revealing that he has his reasons, stirring curiosity.
