Actor Park Si-hoo has become embroiled in the infidelity allegations of an influencer, with the accuser, her ex-husband, and the women mentioned all stepping forward to refute the claims. Park Si-hoo's side has also indicated that they will take strong action and pursue legal measures against the spread of false information.
The incident began on the 5th, when influencer A posted a targeted message against Park Si-hoo on her social media. A stated, "Hey, Si-hoo. When we lived in our family's UN Village, you used to call me sister-in-law, but since 2020, you introduced women to Mr. Hwang," claiming that Park Si-hoo introduced women to her husband, leading to the breakdown of her family.
A revealed messages, social media photos, and chat screens between her husband and a person presumed to be Park Si-hoo, adding extreme expressions like "You should have kept it modest" and "You're acting in a drama, right? I have a gift for you," as well as "Go ahead and sue. I've lost a child and have nothing left to lose." She also further mentioned Park Si-hoo's private life with references like "Are you going to keep being a TikTok host?"
However, Park Si-hoo's side immediately refuted the claims. On the 7th, Park Si-hoo's agency, Hu Factory, stated through an official position that "the claim that Park Si-hoo played a significant role in introducing women to a married man, leading to a family breakdown, is clearly false," adding, "We are in the process of taking legal measures related to this matter."
It continued, "Through our legal representative, attorney Kang Jin-seok, we are preparing actions such as filing a request for mediation with the Press Arbitration Commission and criminal charges against the spread of false information, and we will hold accountable those responsible for disseminating false information and malicious defamation." Park Si-hoo's side has declared that "this matter will be addressed strongly without leniency."
The ex-husband of A, who is embroiled in the controversy, also expressed his stance. In a media interview, he refuted, saying, "We have been divorced for six years, and Park Si-hoo is merely an acquaintance from our hometown with no history of introducing women." Woman B, mentioned by A, also warned, "I am a person who has no acquaintance with those mentioned in this post. Using my photo without permission and spreading false information is a clear defamation."
Park Si-hoo was previously sued on charges of sexual assault in 2013 and faced a crisis of being expelled from the entertainment industry. At that time, a rookie actress claimed that Park Si-hoo assaulted her, while Park Si-hoo's side denied the allegations, stating, "It was a consensual relationship." The case concluded after four months of investigation and disputes with the withdrawal of the complaint and the prosecution's decision of 'no jurisdiction.'
Afterward, Park Si-hoo spent about three years in reflection. He cautiously made his return in 2016 with the OCN drama "Neighborhood Hero" and laid the foundation for a comeback with the success of KBS2's "My Golden Life" in 2017. He then successfully returned by appearing in numerous dramas such as " Babel, " " Lovely Horribly, " and " Dali and Gamjatang."
Once again, Park Si-hoo has become embroiled in a scandal. His agency has declared a "no leniency response," raising the level of their対応, while attention is focused on whether Park Si-hoo can fully resolve this controversy and successfully restore his image.
