The SBS new variety show 'One Shot Project - My Turn' (hereinafter referred to as 'My Turn') will premiere on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 9 p.m.
'My Turn' is a basic fake reality program where seven cast members, including Lee Kyung Kyu, Tak Jae Hoon, Choo Sung Hoon, Lee Soo Ji, Kim Won Hoon, Park Ji Hyun, and Nam Yoon Soo, engage in unpredictable stories to realize their desires as they create a fictional trot idol team. In particular, Lee Soo Ji, known as 'the queen of alternative characters,' is expected to showcase various characters and extraordinary performances, promising a historically significant twist in the variety world.
The first episode, which will premiere on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 9 p.m., will reveal the chaotic and dramatic story that unfolds during the members' joining process. Producer Lee Kyung Kyu expressed his desire to reclaim the entertainment award through this project by focusing all efforts on recruiting trot idol members.
In particular, Tak Jae Hoon attempted to persuade them with sweet words after arriving at their home but ultimately failed. He even brought out a mysterious photo from his phone to threaten them, which heightened curiosity about what the photo contained.
To recruit singer Park Ji Hyun, known as the 'prince of the trot world,' Lee Kyung Kyu personally visited the concert hall, boldly claiming, 'I will make you number one in the trot world,' and succeeded in recruiting him. Following this, Nam Yoon Soo, who has gained great popularity as an actor and established himself as a 'global star,' expressed his determination by stating, 'I will put everything aside and join.' Finally, Choo Sung Hoon was revealed to be a substitute for Kim Jong Kook, who was not an existing member.
Meanwhile, the previously released video of Choo Sung Hoon and Tak Jae Hoon in a naked standoff on the bed has garnered around 5.2 million views on YouTube Shorts and about 3.6 million views on TikTok, showing explosive reactions. The details of the naked standoff will be fully revealed in the upcoming premiere.
