Today (7th), the MBC show 'Save Me! Homes' (hereinafter 'Homes') features former short track athlete Kwon Yoon-gi as the client.
Today's broadcast is a mediation battle between the returning Bok Team and Deok Team, featuring former short track athlete Kwon Yoon-gi as the client. The current client resides near an ice rink and reveals that the landlord has to convert the monthly rent into a lump-sum rental, requiring an immediate move. The client's desired areas are Mapo-gu, Yongsan-gu, and Jongno-gu in central Seoul, with conditions including at least 3 rooms and 1 bathroom. Additionally, they hope to find a neighborhood suitable for dining alone and enjoying daytime drinks. The budget is stated to be in the 400 million won range for a lump-sum rental and up to 1 million won for monthly rent.
Kwon Yoon-gi's search for a new home is led by Yang Se-hyung from the Bok Team and Yang Se-chan from the Deok Team. The three head to Itaewon-dong in Yongsan-gu. Yang Se-chan notes, "Itaewon is a small global village in Seoul, where there are many restaurants and pubs suitable for 'natural meet-ups'." This piques Kwon Yoon-gi's interest.
The property is located a 13-minute walk from Itaewon Station and boasts a stylish all-white interior. After checking out the view of 'N Tower' and the unobstructed scenery of the Itaewon city center, Kwon Yoon-gi applauds, saying, "This is the house I wanted!" heightening curiosity about the property.
Meanwhile, in 'House Viewing With Kim Dae-ho', which travels nationwide, he heads to Boseong-gun in Jeollanam-do. Kim Dae-ho, who opens the segment in the green tea fields of Mongchong Mountain, states, "This wide green tea field is all organic," and begins his sensory exploration by plucking and tasting young green tea leaves and snake berries.
The house being viewed today belongs to a couple of potters, surrounded by trees, creating a feeling of living in the mountains. The couple has been living there since moving from Seoul, having rented a vacant country house for free, and after having their first child, they built this house and moved in, later having their second child in this loving home. It is revealed that the house has a particularly amazing backstory involving the attic, raising curiosity.
