Actor Son Sang-yeon transforms into the new 'te_to_nam' of the home theater.
KBS 2TV's new weekend drama 'Our Golden Days' (written by So Hyun-gyeong, directed by Kim Hyung-seok), which premieres on the 9th, tells a generational family melodrama story about the 'colorful days everyone has, whether now, in the past, or in the future. Each colorful day meets with different meanings.'
Son Sang-yeon plays the role of Lee Ji-wan, the second son of Sang-cheol (played by Cheon Ho-jin) and the younger brother of Ji-hyeok (played by Jung Il-woo). He is a trainer who values love and loyalty, and a character who experiences conflicts and grows amid family and love. Son Sang-yeon is expected to add vitality to the drama by portraying not only Ji-wan's quirky and cheerful side but also the pains and changes he faces while living as a youth, capturing a wide range of emotions with sincerity and realism.
In 2021, Son Sang-yeon convincingly expressed the passion and confusion of youth with a delicate emotional line in SBS's 'Racket Boys,' proving his presence by winning the Best New Actor Award at the SBS Acting Awards. Subsequently, in 2024, he showcased deeper acting by delicately portraying the inner growth of a character overcoming wounds in tvN's 'Beautiful Our Summer.'
Additionally, Son Sang-yeon received positive reviews for playing various youthful characters in Netflix's 'All of Us Are Dead' and tvN's 'My Dearest Nemesis,' and he is expected to undergo a more mature transformation through 'Our Golden Days.'
'Our Golden Days,' featuring Cheon Ho-jin, Jung Il-woo, Jeong In-sun, Yoon Hyun-min, Son Sang-yeon, among others, will premiere on the 9th at 8 p.m.
