Actor Park Si-hoo strongly denied the allegations that he facilitated an affair.
On the 7th, Park Si-hoo's agency, Hope Factory, stated, "We clarify that the facts posted in relation to the post that claims 'Actor Park Si-hoo introduced a woman to a married man and played a significant role in the destruction of the family' are completely unfounded falsehoods, and we will take prompt action regarding this matter."
"We are in the process of preparing legal actions including a request for mediation to the Press Arbitration Commission and a defamation lawsuit for spreading false facts against the party that posted this false information through our legal representative (Attorney Kang Jin-seok of EN&T Law Firm)," the agency noted. "Actions that spread unverified falsehoods or post malicious defamatory comments about Park Si-hoo have been discovered, and we are collecting evidence. We intend to take legal action, including criminal charges, through our legal representative against such acts. There will be no leniency considering the significant damage the actor may suffer due to illegal activities such as the dissemination of false facts."
Park Si-hoo's side added, "We will do our utmost to ensure the prompt progress of criminal procedures such as a police investigation, and we plan to clarify through the investigation that the post contains false facts."
Earlier, an influencer identified as A claimed that Park Si-hoo facilitated a meeting between her and her husband, alleging an affair. In response, A's ex-husband countered that he divorced six years ago and that he is just a hometown brother of Park Si-hoo and has never received an introduction to any woman. The woman mentioned by A, identified as B, also warned, "The act of using my photo without permission and spreading it with false information is clearly defamation. I am suffering from misunderstandings and damage because of this. I have completed capturing and preserving the evidence, and if immediate deletion and correction do not occur, I will consider legal action."
