SBS Power FM (107.7 MHz) has secured its position at the top of listener ratings for 15 consecutive years, receiving overwhelming support from its core audience of those aged 20 to 49.
According to the third round of radio listening rate survey for 2025 published by Korea Research on the 6th, SBS Power FM recorded an outstanding 30.9% in the listening rate among the trendsetting 20 to 49 age group.
This marks 15 years of overwhelming first place since the start of the survey in 2010, and it is the only record among all radio channels to surpass the 30% barrier. It demonstrated its unparalleled status by showing an overwhelming gap of over 10% from the second channel.
In particular, on weekend programs, 'Two O'clock Escape Cultwo Show' ranked first among all programs, showcasing its supremacy as a top player in the music and entertainment genre. 'Cultwo Show' achieved the highest popularity across all genres, including news and current affairs, in the weekend audience ratings survey and ranked third overall during weekdays, maintaining its consistent presence.
In weekday programs, led by 'Cultwo Show,' the absolute stronghold in the morning time slot 'Kim Young-chul's Power FM,' and the popular afternoon program 'Hwang Je-seong's Hwang Je Power,' several major programs positioned themselves within the top 10 in listener ratings, reaffirming the strong content competitiveness across the channel. 'Beautiful This Morning Bong Tae-kyu' and 'Park So-hyun's Love Game' also maintained steady rankings in the upper tier of listener ratings, reinforcing the dominant status of the music and entertainment channel.
In this survey, SBS Power FM also solidified its status as a representative channel of the music and entertainment genre through a balanced popularity that does not lean towards specific time slots or programs. It is analyzed that especially the combination of young, stylish content and the active roles of DJs led to overwhelming support from the 20 to 49 age group.
This radio listening rate survey was conducted from July 8 to 21 with 3,000 radio listeners aged 15 to 69 in Seoul and the metropolitan area.
