Actress Im Young-joo has been cast in the new drama 'Our Golden Days.'
Im Young-joo will take on the role of Oh Soo-jung in the KBS2 new weekend drama 'Our Golden Days' (directed by Kim Hyung-seok / written by So Hyun-kyung / produced by Studio Coming Soon, Studio Bom, Monster Union), which is set to premiere on the 9th.
'Our Golden Days' is a work that portrays a family melodrama of generational empathy about glamorous days met in different meanings, delivering the message that "everyone has glamorous days, whether now, in the past, or in the future."
Im Young-joo plays the role of a cafe employee named Oh Soo-jung in 'Our Golden Days,' which is run by Ji Eun-oh (played by Jung In-sun). Having been friends since the same club, she will showcase her various charms through delicate acting, demonstrating her potential as a "SIS Dental" acting hopeful.
Having appeared in various short films and solidified her filmography, Im Young-joo has gained public recognition by starring in dramas such as 'True Beauty,' 'Romantic Combat,' and 'Don't Treat Me Like a Child,' as well as in the movie 'Abroad.' Additionally, she has engaged in various activities, including multiple advertisements and starring as the main character in the drama version music video of 'Gradient' by 10cm.
In particular, in February, she captivated audiences in tvN's 'My Dearest Nemesis,' where she portrayed Choi Na-na, a member of the planning team at Yongseong Department Store, showcasing fantastic chemistry with Mun Ka-young, who played the head of team Baek Soo-jung. She followed this up with a striking performance as Choi Sol, an 18-year-old girl living with a runaway family in the movie 'Blue,' proving her wide spectrum of acting skills.
