Former baseball player Choo Shin-soo's wife, Ha Won-mi, revealed the car she received as a gift from her husband.
On the 6th, a video titled 'Choo Shin-soo secretly reveals my car (Benz Maybach)' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Ha Won-mi HaWonmi'. In the video, Ha Won-mi introduces her car and is seen washing it by hand with her daughter.
The vehicle she is driving is a Benz Maybach GLS600, a luxury SUV model from Mercedes-Benz. The base price is approximately 280 million won, making it an expensive vehicle.
Ha Won-mi said, "The designated drivers say the car rides well. I don't drive that way, so I wouldn't know, but it seems like a nice car," she laughed.
Using it for commuting, she stated, "After coming to Korea, my husband bought this car," adding, "Actually, I wanted to buy a small and cute car for myself." However, Choo Shin-soo recommended an SUV, and she noted that when the car arrived, it was much larger than she expected.
In response, Ha Won-mi said, "I made a disappointed face because it was too big, and my husband got upset, saying, 'Aren't all SUVs the same size?'" She then added, "So I kept saying 'it's not big' and drove it around, but my friends asked why I was riding a bus."
She noted, "It seems I'm driving the car that my husband wanted," and joked, "Did he buy it on installment?" which made everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, Ha Won-mi has been married to Choo Shin-soo since 2004 and they have three children: two sons and one daughter.
