Achieving a break-even point just 7 days after its release, the film 'My Daughter is a Zombie' (directed by Pil Gam-seong, distributed by NEW, produced by Studio N) has confirmed its relay GV.
The comic drama 'My Daughter is a Zombie,' about a doting father who enters secret training to protect his daughter, who has become the last remaining zombie in this world, has confirmed its relay GV in the third week after release, capturing attention.
First, a special GV will be held on Aug. 13 (Wed) at 7:30 p.m. at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall, featuring director Kim Seong-su of 'Seoul's Spring,' which attracted 10 million viewers in 2023. This event is a collaborative effort due to the long-standing relationship between director Pil Gam-seong, who was part of the production team for Kim's film 'Musa' in 2001.
The two directors are expected to share rich stories centered around the diverse charms of 'My Daughter is a Zombie,' which captivated theaters this summer with its unique settings, vibrant living characters, and messages that resonate with all generations.
On Liberation Day, Aug. 15 (Fri) at 6:25 p.m., a special collaboration, 'My Daughter is a Zombie' GV, will be held at Lotte Cinema World Tower, featuring the series 'Unlucky Day.'
Director Pil Gam-seong, known for his previous work 'Unlucky Day,' will join the charming atmosphere with villain Yong-seok Yoo from 'Unlucky Day' and 'My Daughter is a Zombie,' showcasing extreme characters. They will share behind-the-scenes stories and filming episodes. There will also be a Q&A session to answer the audience's questions about 'My Daughter is a Zombie.' More details about the GV can be found on each theater's website and NEW's official social media.
