Former national soccer player Song Joong-guk's daughter Song Ji-a has become a regular member of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). Growing up with dreams of becoming a celebrity, Song Ji-a is now developing into a golf player.
Song Ji-a's mother, Park Yeon-soo, announced the news on her social media on the 6th, posting a photo and a lengthy message.
Park Yeon-soo opened up, saying, "In the 5th and 6th grades, I went to a planning agency, then in the 7th grade, I entered a golf academy saying I wanted to become a golf player. I registered as a player for the first time and played my first round at Sorrago Country Club, and it feels like just yesterday when I shot almost 100. It's hard to believe that today, after 6 years, I have become a regular member at Sorrago Country Club."
She added, "Since I couldn't participate in the big competitions, we never stood out in terms of results, and I want to show that even starting late, if we prepare well, we can do well."
While doing so, Park Yeon-soo remarked, "Our Song-a-ji has really worked hard. Thank you so much to everyone who helped us, especially to the mother-daughter duo who drove 170km to congratulate us. I love you. #SongJi-aPro #LPGA regular member." She expressed pride in her daughter Song Ji-a.
The photo shared includes Song Ji-a holding a large flower basket. Song Ji-a was smiling while holding a message that read, "Congratulations on passing the regular member status, Pro Song Ji-a," leaving a certification photo. She proudly displayed her achievements with a delighted expression.
Song Ji-a is the daughter of soccer player Song Jong-guk and actress Park Yeon-soo. She gained much love by appearing on the MBC entertainment program "Dad! Where Are You Going?" Later, she attracted attention for resembling her parents and also for her visuals that resemble those of a girl group.
