BTS member Jimin has been nominated for an MTV VMA award.
According to the list of nominees announced on the 5th (local time) for the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (2025 MTV VMA), Jimin has been nominated in the Best K-Pop institutional sector for the title track "Who" from his second solo album "MUSE."
Since first being nominated for the MTV VMA as part of BTS in 2019, Jimin has lifted the trophy for four consecutive years. He has proven his overwhelming presence by being selected as the "Group of the Year" (formerly Best Group) for four years. This year, he is nominated as an individual for the first time, showcasing his talent as a solo artist.
The 2025 MTV VMA will be held on September 7 at the UBS Arena in New York.
"Who," released in July last year, has stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for a total of 33 weeks. It continues to receive immense love, charting on the Global 200 and Global (excluding the U.S.) charts. "Who" has maintained its ranking on both charts for 54 weeks. Additionally, the song won the K-POP SONG OF THE YEAR institutional sector at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
