Rosé of the group BLACKPINK is continuing an unstoppable record race.
The Black Label reported that Rosé's first full-length album 'rosie,' released last December, ranked for 27 consecutive weeks on the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200,' breaking the record for the longest duration for a domestic female artist. 'rosie' gained attention for Rosé's involvement in writing and composing all tracks, and it entered 'Billboard 200' at No. 3 upon its release, setting the record for K-pop female artists.
In addition, the mega hit song 'APT.' (Apartment), which caused a global syndrome, continues to receive unwavering love from fans worldwide. 'APT.,' a collaboration with Bruno Mars that drew attention, simultaneously broke various records in domestic, Asian, European, and North American charts upon its release and achieved the remarkable feat of entering the Billboard main singles chart 'HOT 100' for 41 consecutive weeks.
Rosé was nominated for the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards' (hereinafter referred to as '2025 MTV VMA'), one of the four major popular music awards in the United States. 'APT.' is nominated for several major awards at the '2025 VMA,' including Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Visual Effects, aiming for a total of seven awards.
